you ever a song a few years ago......

and wondered who it is and what it was, but never could get it?? well, adio gained a victory yesterday when i got this song off the net. i first heard it in spring 2003 of the radio when i was recording some jams that night. after it was done i called the station and asked the dj who it was, he told me the name of the song, which i didn't get and the artist was W Ellington Felton. ever since then, i been lookin to DL it but couldn't find it. well, i googled the artists name yesterday and he has a page on myspace and had the song i was lookin for!!!!!!!!!!! couldn't DL cause the link to do it wasn't active, so i recorded it using my minidisc player. the song is called 'politics of bluetopia'

sweetness. i have the same trouble digging up songs i grew up listening to overseas. feels like finding a long lost puzzle piece.

lol usually i memorize the chorus and then get on my comp and search those lines then add +lyrics.

For example..

i got the whole world in my hands +lyrics

type that in google and boom i get results.

doesn't work well when the song is in a language i can't spell, or worse when it's just a melody stuck in my head
