Write me in on the ballot and I promise...
There will be beer, b*tches, and bump for everyone! No more noise violations! Make brothels in every state legal! and..... you guessed it....the green stuff will be legal!

So who's comin with me!
Not a half bad idea.

In all honesty I don't want to vote for any of them for that simple reason. Everyone wants to change everything, but no one is going to have the power or know-how to do it.

What would you do with immigration, the War in Iraq, Heath Care, Government Spending, Social Security, Guns, Abortion, and foreign trade?

Side step!! Side step!!!

Talk about your experience and avoid the question, that is what they do in debates! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Who gives a sh*t. None of the other candidates are going to do anything about it. It's just to get you to vote

There are so many issues and so many different opinions, were never going to have a candidate that fits the wants/needs of the majority of the people. The nation really is becoming 2 different nations it seems like, and it keeps getting worse.

Hell did anyone watch the Clemens hearing? Dems and Reps cant even agree on steroids! LOL

Actually I shouldnt laugh, it is quite sad.

Why are you voting for Clinton?
Well...

That is a rather complicated answer.

But, boil it down and it is between her and McCain. But, I don't know if McCain has the charisma to beat Obama.

Plus, I have always been a democrat. But, as of the last couple years I have become more and more conservative (not Bush conservative). But, it is hard to support a Republican canidate because of my political history. Especially since when I listen to McCain, I tend to want to change the channel... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I don't mean to make this an Obama bash-fest, but....

I find Obama to be a very inspirational speaker. He talks of ending partisan wars within the country...he talks of resolving social and economic issues...he talks of leading the US back into foreign policy prosperity.

But a single moment still sticks out in my mind. It was the last debate (I believe) on CNN that John Edwards was in. Hillary pointed out that over 100 times as a member of the Senate, Barack Obama voted "Present." This means he voted neither yes or no. I believe it was Wolf Blitzer who then asked John Edwards a question, after which Edwards turned to Obama and said "Barack, I want to know why you voted Present over 100 times." And Obama still didn't directly answer why.

The reason he voted that way is obvious to me. You vote present when you wish to avoid voting against the majority or to avoid voting against your supporters. Which is smart. But it isn't inspirational....it doesn't drive change...it is cowardice, in my opinion. If you believe in something, vote that way. If you don't care, get out of politics.

But the Democratic base is so desperate for change that they have been dying to do something drastically different in the most superficial way. And that's why Barack and Hillary are the ones still standing. I don't honestly believe that either of them is more qualified than other Democratic candidates. If America wants experience, I think John Edwards would've been a good vote. Heck, he's already been through a Presidential race as VP. If American wants change, Dennis Kucinich would've been a good vote. He is against the war in Iraq and wanted to change fiscal policy. But people don't know the issues...so they vote for the person who preaches change and the person with name recognition preaching experience.

And in the event Obama wins, how will he make it through the Presidential race? Let's remember what happened to Kerry...he got "swift boated" into a loss. It seems like Obama is already reacting strongly to minor things that the Clinton camp has said...what is he going to do when the conservative base turns their full attention to him? I hate to side with Hillary on this one, but I think she has the tenacity to take them on.

I raise a good point, but I have more faith in Canada than I do in Clinton. I wonder where else I could go where healthcare isn't a right, but rather a privilege.
indeed

Too late. I'm already running and Hoss is my running mate. We'll take over everything.
Lets make a deal. If I win, I'll give you the VP spot. Hoss will get the new chairman of the bump position. Ensuring any cop who gives a citation for a loud stereo. Will be prosecuted for treason!

And if you 2 win... I'll assassinate both of you.
