Ok my friend wanted an amp just any old amp that would work so i find a hella chap cheapo and a wiring kit for 85 shipped. Just something to make the subs work and it did but after bout 5 mins she started smoking heres what i ordered..

I'm still confused as to why you would ever spend any amount of money on that amp? 2000 watts... maybe if it got struck by lightning... at least you got yourself a nice 8ga amp kit... Why did you buy that amp just to see if your subs worked when you already had an amp? This makes no sense..

Good call, I was refering to what was printed on the front of the box, but yeah a cheap chinese 8ga kit is closer to 10ga.
