ive been looking around for a decent set of cheap 6.5 components to replace my stock ones. im running an avalanche 15 ported and need some highs to keep up with the bass. by what ive been looking through for the past few days, infinity kappas and mb quarts are harsh, pg xenons are bang for the buck....and we all know about the type r boner (which has even extended to their reg. speakers...wow haha)...so, saying i use about 60-75rms, what speakers do you think would best fit the bill? my friend has mbq's in the P series, and i like them, but yes theyre a lil harsh..i could tone them down a bit though through my deck probably...so mostly im trying to choose between type r's and the xenons. i cant seem to find the xenons a nywhere though...only the 5 1/4's. what year model are they? are they old or new series stuff? anyway, the choice is mainly between type r's and xenons i guess but other input is welcome. im looking to spend under 150 shipped.
