So the dude at discount auto told me that he could get me 2 new yellow top d31's for 220 a piece shipped. They had one but it was a blue top and **** that thing was massive lol.

$220 is decent for a group 31 battery, but I would look for a HC2400/D3100/9A31 instead.

Note how he said "SHIPPED" though, who knows where it's coming from, shipping g31 batteries are quite expensive :S

These are $320 retail. $220 is not a bad price from a shop. However, the Optima is only a 75ah battery. Most other group 31 batteries have at least a 100ah rating.

This is true but from an auto store you shouldnt have to pay shipping. In most cases this is included in pricing when its on a shelf.

FYI you may get a better price going through a wholesale seller.

you'll need a EIN# but you may save a few bucks worth a look/try.
