Loyd had 2 8volt batts, I think.. he was about to run high current stuff but decided not to.Originally posted by Matador yep, u can look for other high V batts, i believe some put out 16V, i think stinger does this, and there was some other compnay i forgot which one, but someone will help u.
The secondary batt would usually be in the trunk, not in the engine bay..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifOriginally posted by havoc06 well thats the thing, is that i only have room for 1 battery, so it all runs off of the one under the hood. I have an Ohio Generator alternator so i dont really need a second battery...so with this set up, red top would be better?

Hell, I don't know what bling bling is. People have yet to tell me..
I dunno why optima USA doesn't recommend the yellow as the primary batt (maybe a marketing strategy to sell off more batts). My dad's car has run the yellow top as the main bat for about 5 years without a glitch. Optima Korea says there's nothing wrong with using the yellow as primary. Loads of people here do that with zero problems.
I believe the blue tops are for marine use...Originally posted by SlammedB2200 deep cycles are good in boats. anyone interested in red tops my bro can get them to ya for 50 bucks plus shipping brand new.
