hahaha, i know what alot of the type R haters are thinking, man not another thread on this sub...but who cares!

man i did an install with SEALED type R's and man....they beat! so, i recall my statement that R'z dont like sealed boxes, i did a 1.25 sealed box running about 500RMS...dude, i was totaly shocked at the output of this sub in a sealed...ive done quite a few ported applications, but this one i didnt expect the R to get loud plan and simple. and the clarity on the low low notes say around 35hz to say 25hz were crisp and tight. and not to mention this was in a trunk by the way. Yeah it is anothe type r thread, but if it is a rocking sub then who cares. I recently did my install in my cavalier with a 1.75 sealed box with about 600 to each woofer and jesus I cant even breath. Have to say mighty impressed with these little beasts. There are alot of mainstream haters out there. Pretty much most people on this forum believe if it isn't internet brand then its crap. Type R is an excellent sub which many other subs are compared to. I've only owned the Type R and the Atlas though so I can't compare to anything that was in the exact same setup, but the Type R wanged louder than the Atlas.
