Smaller the box...more power you can give it, just remember that. BUT i would say 1300 is fine if you watch the gains. You shouldnt have a problem. My friend has a 15" L7 in a fiberglass 4.3 cu. ft. box with an Alpine v12 1000.1 to it, and it really wants to see more power. I dont know where the gains are set on it, but it definitely could take more power.
