besides the wood and a towel, there really really any other packing in the box, barely a 1/4th of peanuts. So ups screwed it up.. but it really should have had more packing imo for it's weight.

This is exactly how I got the sub.. went out in the snow to open it as I got batteries for my camera - made me so pissed, i've quit audio fully to move on with other things.

note it did have a round piece of wood ontop of the sub, but it was loose and just moving all over not attached. It's screws ripped the surround/cone all to pieces as you can see.

 
This sucks, sorry man.

What sub is this? Looks "internet brand"

If someone had this sub and shipped you it, seems like they would have better sense that packaging it like that.

Especially if it's someone off these fourms; with threads like these all the time.

 
who shipped you that?
keifersracing. i had planned on buying two more motors and several baskets from him for 8xx dollars... I no longer plan to after this. Going to just make a nice home theatre system for the xbox and such.
