4. While it is true that the Theory of Evolution has not been proven fact, it is still the best that Science has to offer. That is why it is taught in Science class. (duh)

So since science, which has yet to even prove it, says its true, it is? Im not saying there is a fault in science, but merely because they say its true, doesnt mean its true.

I'm not even going to respond to your first paragraph.

1. Creationalists interprit the Bible in a literal, word-for-word sense. Apparently, you do not know what an allegory is.

The Bible uses many allegories, such as the book of Genesis, Noah's Ark, etc.

All that Intelligent Design says is that human being are here at the hands of a divine being. That's all it says. The words ''intelligent'' and ''design'' should be pretty self-explanatory, but apparently they are not.

2. The Christian faith is founded on ID. I'll bet you didn't even know that there are two seperate accounts of the creation story in the book of Genesis. Two completely different accounts. How could they both be true? Honestly.

I have had 11 years of Catholic education. I am a Catholic. Very few of my teachers believed in Creationism.

I still think it'd be better to teach both creationism and evolution in schools. A two week course over both. Let the kids make up their own **** minds.
EDIT: Before everyone gets into this whole "extreme logic" mindset, I'd like to take a moment to remind everyone that there are limitation to logic that can not be overcome by logic in itself.

Creationism is an ideology; evolution is a scientific theory. Huge difference.

i didnt mean taught, I meant allowed to be discussed. You cant pray or do shit w/ creationism in public schools, but all other religions are OK.

If you dont consider both of those theories, then I honestly can't see how you passed an logic class, ever.

Both of these are theories, leave it at that. I've tried and tried to disprove christianity, and failed. You cannot logically disprove it unless you make some giant leap and bound argument that some guy said because he is famous. Don't go spewing some stupid site from somewhere showing all the faults in Christianity. I spent an entire semester at school researching disproving christianity for our world religions class.(we had a debate project, and my group was assigned to disprove christianity)

Have you ever read the book I don't have enough faith to be an atheist? I haven't but I hear it is quite good.

Gen 2: 4 is the start of the second account. In my Bible at home, instead of saying ''Adam and Eve,'' it actually says ''Another Account of the Creation.'' The differences speak for themselves.
