alright guys. im here and stuffs.

for the moment im stationed in great lakes, IL at the naval base here going to ATT (i forget what that stands for lawl.) anywho. ive been here for like 6 days now. we have a BEQ (barracks\ship) and its a college atmosphere with lots of dicipline. we have musters every night with uniform inspections at 2145, and a muster at 0600 for a room inspection. we go to class from 0700 to 1600 each day and then eaither get back to the BEQ and have duty (cleaning) or whatever we want. weekends we get off base liberty unless we have watch or duty.

i should be here for a little over a month if i keep myself ahead. im not sure where ill be going after that though.

finally got to wear civilian clothes and shizt. im happy bout that.

otherwords - i keep seein first class' goin by in their cars with systems and it sucks to know i wont be able to own a car\drive\ect not to mention have a stereo in one for a long time comming. but im learning a hell of alot about inductors and impedance and resistance and all that electricalization stuff.

welcome to the navy. Ive been in 7 years so far. You picked the right branch for advancement. Keep your shit together, and study for advancement and youll be a PO1 in no time....believe it.

Great Lakes is a shit hole, once you get out of A School, the navy is alot better. No more lib cards, less anal assholes.
