I think this is stupid af.
Not reading this whole thread to see what everyone says.

I think it really depends on the speakers you hear it from. "Laurel" sounds lower and "Yanni" is higher pitched. Depending on the frequency response of the audio driver, you can here different words. Is it two different audio tracks overlayed?

On my computer, it sounds like Laurel. I voted for the heck of it
First post from you in half a year is this? You get loud yet?

Nah, I've got new hobbies now. I'm getting ready to post a thread selling my Soundrive subs for $250 each shipped. I really got into motorcycles. I need the money to buy a stunt cage for my CBR1k. Also, I've been wanting another lizard. I'm trying to decide between a green iguana and a water monitor. If I can sell all my subs, I'll be able to buy everything I need. Next on the list would be building my rat rod with the dually. I've got everything but the custom frame, front suspension, and radiator. Otherwise, it's ready to go together.

I am keeping two wardens, my four VP 7k's, the three GP 390 externally regulated alts, Ampere 125.4, DC 175.4, my mids/highs drivers, and wiring.

I probably won't do another build until after college though. My plan is if i find someone to settle down with, I'm going to sell my bike and use it to fund my audio build. I have all the metal I need to weld up a cage. I'll just need wood and power storage (caps, AGM's, lithium, ect.) and time to do a build.

Between School and a social life, I don't have a lot of time or money. Planning to go back to work here soon and sacrifice some time for more money this Summer.

I bought a monitor at a pet store years ago.. it refused to eat so I traded it back to them for a snake. Rather an ill tempered creature IMO, iguana is a far better disposition creature for a pet if you ever plan to handle it.

Careful on those bikes... it's the other guy that gets you (provided you're not driving intoxicated) every time.

The breed of monitor I plan to get is actually very personable. There's a distributor who has a youtube channel showcasing their animals for sale. The asian water monitors they have are 4th generation captive bred and are surprisingly docile. When they hatch, employees handle them daily and "imprint". I can link some videos if you're interested. At this point, I'm leaning more towards a monitor than an iguana because they're more active. I do love iguanas though. My aunt I lived with last Summer used to have an iguana when i was younger. It was friendly because she handled it a lot. It was over 5 foot counting the tail. My mom was terrified of it, haha.

Don't worry, I'm not a big drinker. Ask Mitchell, lol. He's drank 80% of the beer in the fridge that I had

Even when i turn 21, I don't think I'll drink much. Just at bars and parties to be social. Most I've drank before riding my motorcycle is one beer one time when I wasn't planning to go anywhere. I don't plan on ever driving intoxicated. I have three friends with DUI's and one who got a DWI over the Summer.

I decided to post my subs for sale tomorrow. I need to get some pictures with better light

I'll probably never try to own reptiles again. I used to keep snakes and when I moved to Florida with them and saw how much healthier and happier they were in that climate I just feel it isn't fair without either a real climate controlled habitat for them or just living in a good region. I don't think we have any native reptiles in Maine apart from a couple small non-venomous snakes... they just aren't built for up here.

Yes the monitors are more lively... the one I had was a mean sumbitch.

Dang, well I've always got the option to move to Florida. I hope it does well though. During the Summer, I expect it to do great. I've got 3 heat lamps right now, along with a temperature and humidity gauge for the tank.

I always thought my snakes were healthy enough for heat lamps heat rocks and some misting but then when I saw how much more vibrant they looked and acted in a real tropical climate it was really night and day. If monitor is more native to arid climate they'd probably do well enough with just heat but the rainforest snakes really like them some 80%+ humidity.

Anyway, glad all is well with you. I'll be tuned in next time you try to get loud.

My mom's boyfriend has a house on Lake Placid, and the plan is we're going to spend winder break there each year. I'll bring my monitor with and see how it likes it. I've been advised not to use heat rocks. They're native to southeast Asia. My plan is to have a semiaquatic tank until it gets bigger. Half water and half rocks/soil.

Thanks, it'll probably be a couple years until I put another sound system in. As long as I keep this pace, I've got 2.5 years of college left.

So pretty much rainforest.... You know there are some breeds that are built for deserts, right? Might consider a small bubbler type humidifier for it's habitat.
Yeah, pretty much rainforest. You're right. I plan to have a bubbler in the water half of the tank and keep it stocked with small feeder fish. You can buy a bunch of feeder fish cheap.
