I suspect if you play this through a tweeter you will hear Yanny, and through a woofer you would hear Laurel. There are two frequency bands playing together, Laurel with low frequency bias and Yanny with high frequency bias, so it all comes down to what is more prominent.

Try it.

I played it on my 13.3 laptop which is basically tweeters for speakers and still heard laurel clearly.
Those probably still play just enough midband to allow the low frequency harmonics of laurel to be prevalent. Try playing it through something that only allows 4-5kHz and above. I heard Laurel from the start on all my full range equipment but then I started playing it on other things and heard Yanny. Yanny is a seperate file, in the high frequencies, overlaid onto Laurel.
It's stupid, just something to keep us busy while wars are waged. Like toddlers with keys.
What kind of faggotry did he finally get caught doing? Trolling the for sale section?
He made a thread calling out @Hertz Mafia, and bet him that his system was louder. As always, he talked a bunch of shit and made excuse after excuse after excuse as to why he hadn't posted up any numbers. Finally, a month and a half later he goes to a comp and gets metered. To no surprise to any one, he was nowhere near as loud as Hertz. Made more excuses as why he wasn't and, even though he lost the bet, said he wasn't gonna pay. Then somehow thought that talking shit to Whitedragon was a good idea, and so WD hit him with the Perma Ban.

I think this is stupid af.

Not reading this whole thread to see what everyone says.

I think it really depends on the speakers you hear it from. "Laurel" sounds lower and "Yanni" is higher pitched. Depending on the frequency response of the audio driver, you can here different words. Is it two different audio tracks overlayed?

On my computer, it sounds like Laurel. I voted for the heck of it
