Eeee.... Maybe.... That one might not be tooooooo bad....

You find me something else that I can run 3-way active with that is mildly reasonably priced... But I do know that the behringer starts playing funny stuff with the levels and curves when the line levels get to low...

I like Ashly but, you are right that would be a bit more expensive....

An Electrical Engineer's perspective on the DCX (well, part of it, no, I'm not going to say who this person is or who they work for either)

"The DCX is an ok piece IMO. Lots of capbilities and decent hardware. The the filter algorithms aren't that great; at low levels the curve stop following the rolloff characteristics you choose. I think it starts deforming the curve about -50dBFS."

thanks jim for the advice picked up a mic and a preamp today in the morning been playing with the it all morning and im getting close to a flat curve but i need an amp and an eq with more bands to be able to adjust everything just right

it does sound way better so far almost like i have new speakers lol

what sucks is i found out my response below 25 hertz dips bad so its true even with the built in subs in the def techs you still need a sub //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

anyone want to loan me 5-6 grand for a new sub, amp,eq? lol

why in gods name would it cost 5-6 grand just to add a sub? get the new adire tempests, plus a plate amp off of PE and build yourself a box and your good.

actually i want the def tech with the 3-14" subs ive read reviews that it plays all the way down to 11 hertz dunno what the drop off is though

and then 2 grand for the rotel 1095 which i want bad and i dunno im guessing a good eq is another 1500

This is what impressed me most about the Axiom sub. I was originaly going with the EP 350 but after reading more about it and evaluating online reviews I dished out the extra 600 smacks for the EP500. Granted that my space is no where near what most of the reviews and especialy the below graph replicates I am trully eager to try it out. Few more days...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif

The sub:

The sub is able to dip in the teens and still be smooth.
