So i just get a call from the lawyers office over a **** credit card that i havent paid on in 2YEARS!!! They call me saying that capital one has turned my account over for collections to this law firm over like 100 miles away.

This woman was so rude to me, just a total biotch, asks why i havent been paying. I tell her I said well after it being two years since i have paid them jack crap, i figured ya know wth they gave up, but WRONGO! Anyway, this woman was so rude to me, she made me feel like a dog being abused by its owner. FYI, IM NOT MEANING TO SOUND LIKE I AM WHINING ABOUT IT, BECAUSE ITS MY FAULT.

But is there any reason that this lady should have treated me the way she did? If so, WHY?

I mean I understand they want the money, but I mean hell. She had me so mad after she said well when are you getting a job? I told her I said mam, honestly i culdnt tell you, when they decide to call me and say hey come on in to work i guess.

opinons? thoughts? feedback?

p.s. Yeah I am gonna be paying that $40 a month but I feel like I was confronted in the wrong manner. Anyone catch my drift here?

Im sure if someone spent your money they didnt pay it back for 2 years you would have an attitude also.

ok, lets try this again...I admitted I am in the wrong for not paying..I am in the wrong for not trying to resolve this sooner. But for the little miss priss at the lawyers office who, treated me with much disrespect...it wasnt the lawyers money..its the creditors money..if anyone should be making judgements towards me it sohuld be the creditors. They have sent me, that I know of, one collection notice back two years ago, and I did pay some up. They have NOT tried calling my home phone to work out a resolving plan to clear this up.

but like said, I just thoguht it was wrong how she confronted me..I'm not asking yall to feel sorry for me, not one single bit.

I had a credit line of $250...now after the two years its up to no tellin how much, im sure its in the thousands by now. I couldnt go over that $250 limit, nor did I ever max it out. Most I spent was like $17x.xx is what my last statement shows. I got it sittin right here in front of me.

What is she supposed to say? Hey sir, just wanted to make sure you are still not going to pay YOUR debt. No, she has to be a ***** to help get remedy the situation...obviously them being nice and letting this go 2 years was a long enough grace period. Pay it and man up.

So who cares about credit? Beating the system over a small debt owed is not worth not being able to get a loan to buy a house or buy a car...I'd rather pay the small debt and be able to puchase a 500k house rather than be told no, or be given such a high rate its not worth it.
