I dont beleive i said you cant have 3 susb in a trunk, its just sort of a waste of money IMO, you dont get a whole lot of gain with a 3rd sub, but what do i know

Dave made some subs that were called seXXX. It was a modified SE with XXX coil and other bs(I can't remember.)

All other things being equal, you would gain 50% more displacement. Adding displacement is adding displacement, be it two larger subs or 3 smaller ones. The only issue I see with odd numbers of subs (like 3) is a wiring hassle.
