I'm a bit confused on people's obsessions with the Solo X. I've heard one, it was running off like 6000watts and sure it was loud as shit but it had absolutely zero SQ at all. I'm not talking about a competition setup either this was daily driving, and it was a dealer's setup so yes it was a fairly complex and what not. I personally wouldn't put one of those in my car for daily driving if you paid me. And it's not like I hate kicker either, I have kicker speakers, and I like some of their other subs like the L7's and compvr's, but I'm just wondering what the hell you must be thinking if you think the Solo X is an even remotely decent SQ sub. For the kind of money you have to put into amps, and batteries, etc for that already rediculously expensive sub I'd rather have like 2 XXX 15's which would beat the shit out of a single Solo X in spl and sq.

actually, if he had the space for it and the electrical system why not? he would have a loud *** system by anyones standards, also, why dont you do some research before you say shit about amps you dont know about. it would only take one of those amps to push one of those subs. 2 x 2400 RMS @ 1ohm. and you can get an a2300hct and a solo x on ebay for a grand total

That SoloX would take all 4 of those amps on it and beg for more. Which is why i said that... Now if i wanted your lip, id jingle my zipper a little. Untill then, keep your attitude to yourself because i wasnt throwing down your shitty audiobahn amps... oops.

You are mad because you are one of those people. Look at you driving a bimmer... obviously you didnt pay for it. And for accepting a stereo like that from my parents... I wouldnt take it. Thats the shit im talkin about. Im not gonna give my kids a **** thing when i have them. Ill give them a good life and whats necessary to survive but im not gonna spoil their sorry ***** or they will become little babies who never knew what work was...sort of like the little spoiled kid who started this thread. to the kid with the stupid *** dad: this is where i came from and where i am at now. i grew up in a trailer here in nc. i worked my *** of in high school and college to get where i am at today. i have a nice car a nice bike and a economy car to drive so i dont run up miles on my newer stuff. for all of my hard work i am now the manager of a beer and wine distributor here in my hometown. i have a nice house (paid for) and i am only 29 years old. i saw from an early age what i would have to do in order to be sucessful in life. i had to fight tooth and nail to get out of where i was. my mother and father did what they could for me but at least they tought me the meaning of value. i have two children and it doesnt matter how much money i have they will have to earn what they want. i will give them a roof over their heads, food on the table, and clothes on their back but so far as giving them a car and throwing money down the toilet i respect myself and them too much to do something like that. for your dad to give you a range rover(piece of s hi t any way) and then tell you that you have to spend 6k in the car or you wouldnt get the money is the very reason why kids today do not appreciate anything but themselves. example: a friend i had a while back had rich parents that gave him anything and everything he wanted. well, last year the dad and mom ended up losing their business and went broke. all of the money his parents gave him went right through his hands the moment he got it(prob. around 7k a month). he went from driving a bmw x5 to driving a 1993 mazda pickup truck. if his parents had had any self control and had taught him the right way to manage what he had he wouldnt be in the situation he is in right now. the bmw was paid off but when the money ran out he still wanted to live the lifestyle he was accustomed to and took out a loan on the x5 and he wasnt able to keep up with his loan payments. guess what, no more bmw. serves him right as well as his parents. they have no house, no more of the 6 cars they had(all brand new) no nothing. because they did not know how to plan for the future. it sounds like your parents dont care about teaching you anything worthwhile either. 6k for a stereo in a kids car? give me a f uck ing break. i have what i have because of me and my hard work. i take care of my stuff and treat what i have like gold. people like yourself have no respect for anything because you think whatever you want should be there for you when you want it. i am happy that i was born poor so i could get that part of my life over with first. it sucks for people like yourself that will prob. end up in the poor house towards the end of your life. thats the way things normally work out. mom and dad make the money and die, kids spend all the money and are competely broke in the end.

because u are a hick from wisconsin ill give u a break since uve probly no nothing about cars but trucks. My dad bought this car 11 years ago and it has 150,000 miles on it and he passed it on to me. if i was to sell it, it would sell for no more than 5 grand. but because its a 'Bimmer' ur gona sterotype but it deosnt suprise me. Like i said, its too bad people like u have to be jealous of other kids just because ur parents never gave u anything.

Hmmmmmmmmmm..............Oh well to each his own....I was never handed anything but i certainly dont hold it against those who are! That is just dumb....and well it is downright jealousy at its best! Kid A. has nothing and doesnt get anything unless he works for it. Kid B. has everything and never has to work..Kid A. is automaticly mad at kid B. and plays the whole "i am better then you because i work for my shit card." Seen it a hundred times! Like I said it is jealousy, as much as you condecenders dont want to admit it that is wha it is! I have had a job since the age of 12! Yeah that is right at 12 i started being a cleanup bithc for a local construction company! Had a job everysince! And I have worked for all I have! And owe nothing! B/c i work for my own shit! But I am not pissed this kid gets all his shit for free! And there is really no reason to be!!!
