Message: <blockquote data-quote="lexus rx" data-source="post: 340965" data-attributes="member: 550564">to the kid with the stupid *** dad:  this is where i came from and where i am at now.  i grew up in a trailer here in nc.  i worked my *** of in high school and college to get where i am at today.  i have a nice car a nice bike and a economy car to drive so i dont run up miles on my newer stuff.  for all of my hard work i am now the manager of a beer and wine distributor here in my hometown.  i have a nice house (paid for) and i am only 29 years old.  i saw from an early age what i would have to do in order to be sucessful in life.  i had to fight tooth and nail to get out of where i was.  my mother and father did what they could for me but at least they tought me the meaning of value.  i have two children and it doesnt matter how much money i have they will have to earn what they want.  i will give them a roof over their heads, food on the table, and clothes on their back but so far as giving them a car and throwing money down the toilet i respect myself and them too much to do something like that.  for your dad to give you a range rover(piece of s hi t any way) and then tell you that you have to spend 6k in the car or you wouldnt get the money is the very reason why kids today do not appreciate anything but themselves.  example:  a friend i had a while back had rich parents that gave him anything and everything he wanted.  well,  last year the dad and mom ended up losing their business and went broke.  all of the money his parents gave him went right through his hands the moment he got it(prob. around 7k a month).  he went from driving a bmw x5 to driving a 1993 mazda pickup truck.  if his parents had had any self control and had taught him the right way to manage what he had he wouldnt be in the situation he is in right now.  the bmw was paid off but when the money ran out he still wanted to live the lifestyle he was accustomed to and took out a loan on the x5 and he wasnt able to keep up with his loan payments.  guess what, no more bmw.  serves him right as well as his parents.  they have no house, no more of the 6 cars they had(all brand new) no nothing.  because they did not know how to plan for the future.  it sounds like your parents dont care about teaching you anything worthwhile either.  6k for a stereo in a kids car?  give me a f uck ing break.  i have what i have because of me and my hard work.  i take care of my stuff and treat what i have like gold.  people like yourself have no respect for anything because you think whatever you want should be there for you when you want it.  i am happy that i was born poor so i could get that part of my life over with first.  it sucks for people like yourself that will prob. end up in the poor house towards the end of your life.  thats the way things normally work out.  mom and dad make the money and die, kids spend all the money and are competely broke in the end.HAHAHA  youre 24 and your dad is having to give you a car to drive!!!  HAHAHA  yea, good luck on making your fortune youre talking about.  thats even worse than a high school kid getting stuff from their parents.  HAHAHA //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rotflol.gif.b453361716769b8110ddefc85ff03cd2.gif  :hilarious</blockquote>
