So, you are saying you own/owned a xxx sub, and that's the performance it gave you? if you are talking about a new one, I do not know, but I doubt it. If you mean the older version, nothing could be further from the truth. Within their playing range, my xxx's have hit every note Ive asked, and no trouble with transition even on the fastest rock beats. Much of the problems you describe could be attributed to the box.i married them. we had multiple sexual encounters lasting only a few seconds each, but you can learn a lot when being that close with a set of speakers.
flat curves when dealing with woofers are mostly made up from box designs and the environment they are in. i had trouble with the note shifts and lack of range. more of a one note wonder, well two. it killed on the upper notes and lower notes, but lacked a lot of definition in between. once it found a note it was good, but it had a lot of trouble settling down into that note.
Actually, dumbass, he was right. You would use "an" because when "SQ" is pronounced, it begins with a vowel sound. (ess..)a is used used before vowels. xxx is not a SQ driver at all. where do you people get your info from? bettery yet, have you ever heard a SQ driver? if anything, in the right box it might be ok for a SQL type driver, but it wont compare to others such as the idmax, w6v2, d9, etc... shoot, my dd3512 will outperform that xxx SQ wise.
he said, "An XXX", ****face.Actually, dumbass, he was right. You would use "an" because when "SQ" is pronounced, it begins with a vowel sound. (ess..)
Also, if you want to be a grammar Nazi, use correct punctuation and capitalization.
i am wondering why i still visit this site. i was refering to frequency response in a real world installation which takes into account real world, non test lab factors. So, you are saying you own/owned a xxx sub, and that's the performance it gave you? if you are talking about a new one, I do not know, but I doubt it. I assume that is in response to my comment about a flat BL curve. If so, a speaker's BL curve has nothing to do with the enclosure its placed in. If that's not what you were referring to, I fail to see your point.
Lastly, you did not mention your experience with the xxx comp set you are critiquing. You must have forgot. I still would like to know.

arent you brave... i did, after four years because of children like you. i thought i would see if it has changed, but it hasnt.so leave..
Okay, so we've just established you have no idea what you are talking about, but want us to think you do. Again, a BL curve, while still telling alot about a speaker's performance, is NOT derived from an in-enclosure response. The more you want to downplay it as not a 'real world' spec, the more that tells me you dont even know what a BL curve is, means, or tells you about a speaker.i am wondering why i still visit this site. i was refering to frequency response in a real world installation which takes into account real world, non test lab factors.
After years of children like him? I assumed, from your experience and knowledge, or lack there of, that YOU were a kid.arent you brave... i did, after four years because of children like you. i thought i would see if it has changed, but it hasnt.
seasoned veteran that has been here longer than you my child. the thing that is so funny about car audio is that it is simple. it isnt rocket science. if any of you could contribute less to porn subscriptions and more to the car audio industry you would realize that. the only math you need is simple ohms law, and how to calcuate box information. dont turn car audio into something it isnt. people like you give the car audio industry a bad reputation. After years of children like him? What never changes is people's inability to admit when they are in over their head. You are in over your head in this convo, stop trying to look like the seasoned veteran. As someone who DOES have that experience, I see right through you. Sit down, shut up, and try reading more rather than typing so much. Maybe you'll actually learn something and eventually become that expert you seem to already think you are. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
