XXX 15 vs two HC 15s

i dont have a huge trunk, i have room for 7-8 cubes absolute max.

given the same restrictions on encosure size, which would produce more SPL in the same car given the same power

Amps:

Two JBL BP1200.1's

Subs:

A.) single ReXXX15, 6-8 cubes, 30hz

B.) Dual ReHC 15s 6-8 cubes *around 30-33*

I'm pretty sure those HC's would wang more than the XXX. PM or ask Silica on here about his HC 15's... He has an enormous box for his.

I love my HC(s). Only one is in right now, but they are great subs. The XXX is also a great sub and will sound awesome. It all depends on what you want.

3-4 cuft per HC isn't enough..

7-8 cuft for a single XXX is borderline too large for that power amount, in a daily role..

I'd suggest dual 12's..

I agree, 2 HCs with 1200 on each would slam really hard for daily
