xtant amplifier problem

can something internally in an amplifier cause it to have ground loop whine? i've done everything, install wise that has always worked on other amps, grounded head unit and rca's, power wires on opposite side as rca's, etc. even a ground loop isolator won't get rid of it. i hate those things anyway. maybe something internally is messed up. looking at the guts, it looks fine, but i'm thinking it's not fine. ideas? note: i had someone sit in the rear jumper seat and they stomped the crap out of the distro block, breaking off the fuses. it did have a problem before that happenned, but it seemed to have gotten worse after that. maybe coincidence.

Its a TOUGH problem to fix. It could be an inherent problem with either the amp or your head unit, i had a head unit once causing an irreparable whine problem.

Try all the normal stuff for fixing ground loop interference, like regrounding, regrounding, and regrounding, if that downst work, take drastic measures and reground some more stuff. But yes it could be your gear too.
