I have an Xtant 1001d amp for sale. Was used for about 1 1/2 week. Amp is in perfect condiction comes with warranty etc. Has dual colling fans built into the amp.

people think a capacitor saves your alternator and it may during the big bass hits because it uses that power and not always power from your battery. BUT this is what people dont understand....the alt needs to work to keep the cap charged...so therefore it really isn't doing anything at all.

well yes it has to recharge i think we all knew that, and that it comes from the battery.

Stinger...ever think that you might be wrong/ignorant? The extra batteries and caps will help somewhat, but they charge off the alternator, and if your system sucks enough power to drain the cap...and start on the battery, the alt has to refill the cap, battery, and still power the system at the same time. more stress!

how was it stupid??? how do you expect your battery to charge without it using your alternator??? if you have 2 battery's theres 2 things it has to charge.
