What type of car do you have? I see in your sig you have a d3400. Why not put that in the front?

because im going to be running a DD m3 at .5 ohm......the M3 would do better off the d3400 in the back then a small batt int he back

and the car is a hyundai tucson with the 2.7L v6

Well if you're going to run a strong amp at .5 ohm then I wouldn't suggest putting that small of a battery in the front either. I would say another d3400 at least!

i think that will be overkill......d3400 are good for atleast 3500 as a back battery..........maybe ill go with a little bigger one idk

anyone here ever use the 680???

I run a little 680 in the trunk. I love that little batt. I may grab a couple more and make a tiny bank of them insted of one giant 100lb one.

My buddy ran 5k+ on a 3100 up front and a 680 in the back and his voltage was fine. It was hilarious seeing (3) 1/0 runs going to that little bish. Lol.

Thats 2 big batts that's why lol i want to save a. Little money and put a small 545 or 680 up front and hope it starts fine daily

yeah if u dont want voltage issues and u r running almost 2000 watts u need battery power lol but if u just want a lil reserve i put the 925 in my wifes car with no issues and she is running under 1000 watts total stock was not enough u could hear it drop off due to voltage drop but now its just there contantly!!!

i also ran the xtx 5000.1 with those 2 batteries and i thought i had battery problems until i found out that my alt wasnt kicking in at the idle it has to be sent back and adjusted but if u put my foot on the gas and bump it it sounds really good always better in my opinion to have "over kill" atleast in the future if u want more u won't have to spend more money for more battery reserve u will already have it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
