Not to mention he didn't have to pay **** for em to begin with, yet even at the price he paid, I still got my Dekas which are comparable batts for way less...

So the owner of the van in Dallas, not gonna mention his name with 18 XS 3000s you send him, you guys aren't gonna fully sponsor him like you said you were anymore? Because as of not too long ago I have an email from you guys saying you will be sending him the money he paid for the batts once it gets out to shows..

Considering I am the Sales and Marketing manager I would LOVE to see this email. We do not give batteries to anyone! Steve Meade, Pipo, Tommy, Mick, Gary Killian, and everyone else paid for theirs.

Seriously though, I'm right in the middle of trying to determine a replacement starter battery. I only want to buy once.

I disagree. There are plenty of guys who have swapped to XS power and gained. I run daily and I've noticed a big difference. Plus the Kinetik and Deka batteries that I've used all have died within 1 yr. The XS Power batteries I've used (currently using still to this day) have lasted well over 3 yrs, and my under hood battery well over 4 yrs. You cant discredit that.

If a Batt only last you a year you did something wrong, whether you want to admit it or not, a battery will work as it should, and if u bought both new both warrant at least a year warranty

If you are doing comps then I would consider, but if its daily I would personally go a cheaper route just like xs stated in this thread

I know they did, that's why it's such a big deal that he's supposed to be the first one that gets them for "free" he paid up front and is getting his money returned according to what I saw.

I'm not trying to get in a pissing match with ya man, it's really not all that big of a deal.. just stating what I saw.

I'm not trying to be a **** here and say XS is garbage, they make great batteries, just over priced in my opinion which I am entitled too. Some people run XS and I don't blame them, if I had the cash I would, but I'm only 19 and working and going to school, while playing football kind of takes up my time. All in all though, if you've got the cash go ahead and get the XS batt, if not, a Deka, C&D, or Oddesey will serve you just as well.

Lmfao. Usually you give good advice but that's the dumbest **** I've ever heard you say.. Really dude? Come on.. Lmfao, the AH rating on my Dekas is comparable with a 3400, your saying I need 10 Dekas to run a 5k set up as to where I'd only need 3 XS D3100s?.... I'm running 2 total, one under the hood location doing main duties the other in back and the lowest I drop full tilt at .5 is from 15.3 to 14.4. Give me a break..

Never said you need 10 to run 5K. AH rating is not everything just like a single spec in anything in our fine hobby means much. 1 3100 will run a 5K setup with proper alt power. My 2 3400s offer a bit more then a 3100 and run close to 6000 rms. I lose a bit at idle if its pushed hard.

No pissing match here. I would ask you to please have the unnamed person to email me or call me 888.497.7693, because I can promise you no one is getting free batteries. Want to make sure they understand this before they go to the trouble of installing them. A single 3100 will not run a 5k setup

With proper alternator power and wiring it will. 500 amp load on a D3100 for 30 seconds drops to 10.8v with no alternator power, so with proper alternator power a single D3100 can run a 5k system. Now it will not run a 5k system played at full tilt on a boosted slowed track all day without recharging.
