xpold 1200w amp?

Just wanted to know if anyone knows, if the xplod 1200w 2 channel is half decent, i run xplod subs on alpine amps right now but they are older, so i wanted to get something new, figured why not stick with sony!

I have the 760w MAX one, it sucks.

They overrate their amps. Have pretty half *** subs and speakers. But make decent head units. The high end model with the LCD screen is clean. Man that screen is so sharp, but it is a great head unit, kinda lengthy menus, but good none the less.

Steer clear of Xploding amps and speakers.

i am usin a gtx2200 right now, which is the amp that you are talkin about, my dad bought it for like 100 bucks one day so i didnt really know, and my old mtx amp got fried so i took the sony cuz i didnt want to spend any money.... anyways im runnin the sony amp on a planet audio FU right now and its kicken, i have never had any problems with the amp, and i dont car if it doesnt push out 1200 watts or not, its makin my 18 pound harder than half the folks on here....

Oh, there not bad amps.

Just not enough watts.

Mine is still going after 4 years
