Xover suggestions...

As the title states, I need cross over suggestions.

My HU is a pioneer

fronts are s600s diamond comps

amps...2 orion hcca 2100s

sub..probably a 15" XXX

Would an Audio COntrol Three.1 fit the bill? I do like having the controls from the drivers seat.

Any other suggestions?

To be able to have control up front I would say that would be your best bet. I personally believe the 24XS is a better X-over but then you wouldn't have up front. Not to mention the Three.1 gives you a 4 band graphic EQ. So I would say go for the Three.1.

why do you need upfront access? i would choose based on quality and flexibility first... just doesnt make sense to me... set it and forget it.

What type of crossover do you need?? A 3 way with bandpass, or just a two way?

Anyways, Coustic makes some killer crossovers. See if Kappa546 still has his Coustic Design Reference DX-28 three-way xover for sale. It is a sweet, sweet crossover (I know, I own two of them). Also, check out the Coustic XM-6 or XM-5. The Tru Technology F1B is a sweet xover also.

I have an Coustic XM3 and it is great very nice and clean and 5 volt pre-amp outputs also....

In my humble opinion AudioControl makes the best crossovers in the consumer market. For one, eq's and xovers are all they do and they do it right. Not to mention they're American made. Secondly, their noise cancellation is top notch. I use an MTX xover because it has an external bass control. If AudioControl would make a xover with EBC I would switch over immediately. Just my 2 cents.
