oh no, im just curious. re doesnt provide the Xmech on their specs, which of course, is not really necessary as it is not an spl sub. come to think of it i dont think they provide the Xmech on any of their subs...

Hah the XMech on my subs is 4"... Unfortunately if i ever see that i have just ruined a VERY expensive sub.

I don't know if the basket would even allow 3" p2p. I believe you are pretty well hard limited to about 34mm rearward with that basket...

most companies omit xmech, because to the less knowledged, it can be a misleading spec..

any woofer that makes a trip to xmech.. only makes it one time... because xmech is a hard limit..

...so the Xmax is the Xmech for the xxx? im still a bit confused. so the xxx max excursion is about 3 in p-p? ive got to do some researching on the fields of a driver being "over hung" among others as well...

I remember on RE's forums someone saying something along those lines. The driver is very limited on X-mech due to the design. Like everyone already said, who cares?
