The prices are about the same. XM advertises 170+ stations, and Sirius advertises 130+ stations.

Price-wise, they are about the same.

Sirius offers nfl games, nbs games, howard stern and a couple other things that xm doesnt. Other than that a lot of the channels overlap (same type content). Both **** for sound quality but I prefer the programming of sirius. And supposedly they are both going to merge so who knows what is going to happen.

the last year i have been sirius free... and i think i might die if i dont get to listen to howerd sturn. or buba the lovespounge within the next 2 months!!!!

i have a XM tuner that is allready paid for 2 years... just font have a nack for XM.... at all.

Sirius has Hair Nation and backspin...those two stations are worth the money each month to me.

in regards to sound quality. i am hoping that if they merge the quality will improve. i have heard that the two companies are currently splitting the bandwidth of what was originally designed to be for a single service. they had the inventor of satellite radio on Howard Stern one day and he said that was the case.
