Hmm..Two weeks after Xbox Live started to experience several performance issues, Microsoft can't fix the "intermittent issues" the service has undergone since Christmas. Now, three Texan subscribers filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Microsoft. The plaintiffs claim Microsoft knew the holiday sales of Xbox 360 and the resulting increase in subscriptions to Xbox Live would increase gameplay on its servers.
Yesterday, at the at the 2008 CES Press Briefing, Robbie Bach, President of the Entertainment & Devices Division at Microsoft, said that Xbox Live just passed the 10 million member mark, 6 months faster than Microsoft anticipated. The company has announced it plans to offer all of its Xbox Live members around the world access to a full Xbox Live Arcade game that will be available to download free of charge.
