noooooo... I said there going to use the "cell" core and base around it, it will give them an advantage in other areas to focus on, since they know so much about the cell, why turn over a good thing.. It more than likely will be a more advanced CELL, but same principals.. ..

Now gaming systems are like damn computers and are so in depth.. Report: Sony eyes multi-core CPU for PS4

Kotaku reports that Sony may be considering a multi-core CPU design to power its next-generation Playstation 4 console.

Citing the Japanese website PC Watch, Kotaku notes that Sony remains determined to find an alternative to the PS3's "challenging" Cell architecture.

"One early alternative included Cell and Intel's Larrabee. Wanting a bit more horsepower, Sony has apparently abandoned this plan," claims Kotaku.

"Sony was also apparently considering a modified version of the Synergistic Processor Unit, but is now supposedly working on designs that include a multi-core CPU."

I like the advancement in gaming. However the time between last generation and this was entirely way too short. They shouldn't even trying to bring anything out until 2014/15. I'm not in a rush and doubt many are. Hell last I heard they were only at about 70% of the ps3 capability. So who knows

Bro come on....besides MGS and Killzone 2 what has ps3 dropped worth a dam exclusive wise? Uncharted is good, but I feel you bro. I waited a long time for Killzone2 and it sucked. My updates take no time so I think that might be an issue with your internets. I use mine wired though.

But as of now, the main selling point of the ps3 is the blu ray player. Exclusives are a thing of the past. I think the next ones worth talking about God of War and Gran Turismo 5.

Sony really dropped the ball this generation. I love my ps3, but it could be so much better.

I enjoyed alot of 64 games and Genesis which IMo the best system ever! But I did love golden eye 4 player split screen, LOZ: Oot, Diddy Kong Racing, DK 64, Super Mario 64, Mario kart, Wwf no mercy, mannnnn...tons

both my 360 have rrod i turn it off and right back on it goes away. the fix costs 10$ and you do it urself its a simple effort is all. its just a small x brace.

slated release will more than likely be 2012.. Mid to end of 2012.. we still got a few yrs man
