It's common knowledge that no Kenwood unit can run active,not his opinion but fact,so calm down buddy

It will work fine with an External Crossover...I'd get one with at least 4 inputs....that way you can use the rear ch's for your mids and front ch's for the fighs...use the decks internal crossover for your subs....You might can use the decks rear hp to help create a band pass on your mids....

I thought you were stating that you could not run active with a external crossover.

In which case I was going to disagree heavily.
