X8 or sa-10 or 12?

I have yet to hear an X8 to judge it's output but I'm trying to decide if 1 X8 would compare to 1 sa-10 or 12. I have a kicker zx750 rated at 798rms that they would run on.

My buddy ha an x8. I still think cone area wins this one single sub set ups cuz the SA series is beast. An SA 10 or 12 would be a lot louder then an x8 IMO

What type of vehicle/or space giving up? Make all the difference in the way any sub performs with the type of enclosure provided and tuned too

Id throw in the SA-12/in a 2.0 cu ft. ported enclosure at approx 34-36 hTZ will perform nicely..sub rear/ port rear.It should sound very nice.By making the enclosure that way, it will also give you an option to go sub up/port up also

Not sure what an SA-10/12 cost these days, but a SQuebed HDS3/10 is $149 shipped, and Im running a pair in my CRV in 4Cuft@32htz on 1500rms and they slamm nicely. One 10 in approx. 2.0 cuft@32-36 htz should sound/ perform very nicely.ATM on the amp you have and will be there for a future upgrade in power for you.They took a good two weeks to loosen up but sound really nice.Ill be throwing an AB 4480.1 d on them soon that I have sitting:santa:

Id even look at an AB XFL 10/or 12. They slamm also very nicely and sound very nice at SQL volumes
