Tommy was "part owner" of that hack job? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif
Epic.....
Supposed to help him out, he didn't want my help, so I said ok, and that was all she wrote. Downhill from there.

Could have been something good but he got greedy and lazy simultaneously.

Great bump. ITT: lots of shit hitting the fan. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

I can tell you what it looked like. Hell I think my buddy still has one of the boxes that made up part of that wall. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Essentially it was a series tuned 6th order bandpass that he got lucky with. What he did was built a shell as big as he could. Then by a stroke of luck he had two single 12" boxes that happened to fit perfectly side by side in the shell.

The rest just fell into place.

On a side note, my single 12" setup is as loud as his wall was, but his peaked about 10 hz lower which is why it was so impressive. Plus it was two type-r 12's and an orion 2500d at 1 ohm, so not much power.

haha....nothing like dumb luck too get it done.

Did he come up with those designs for all the other normal boxes he built?

Some of those trunk cars(grand ams) was pretty loud for what it was.

Yeah, a lot of that was just testing and experimenting.

He had a trunk car so he tested a lot of designs and figured out what worked.

People can make fun of him all they want, but the whole side-firing trunk box design that is popular today was pretty much started by him and my team.

That's not to say that he's not an assbag, because he is.
