Sounds to me, that you guys just don't like eachother and he forgot to close out his ish before he left and you went in there acting like a child and now your in trouble for it. Maybe you should have closed it out......or if you don't like hime, which seems apparent, then should have went to your supervisor telling him about this guy getting online and shit, but he would say you get on too and would be a clusterfawk.

Changing his password would have been effective, and not got you in trouble with management....

ALL employers take ****** Harrassment VERY Seriously because of how much potential liability they have... in other words then don't want to get sued over you being an idiot!

You would be amazed as to what some employers consider ****** harassment!.. For instance I have seen it in some companies hr handbook that even casual contact if it is unwelcomed, could be considered harassment....and that could litterally be a pat on the back...

Harassment doesn't just have to be physical either, verbal and now even written statments either by text message, blog, whatever CAN be considered harassment...

If your "buddy" considers it to be harrassment to him..your gone!... if he can see it as a joke you will probably get in some shit over it still but should be able to keep your job, unless your company has a "zero tolerance policy" on ****** harassment....
