sugar can give you heartburn, especially if it mixes with something you ate previously...not to mention some of those special "herbs" for energy can probably bring on a little heartburn...

Change what you eat and drink if you get heartburn. Works for me...LOL!

Caffeine + carbonation = heartburn and acid reflux. Mountain dew is pretty much the worst drink for people with heartburn. You can try Nexium or some other pill but more than likely you're going to have to start cutting back... I tried Nexium, prilosec and prescription medication and none of it worked except limiting my soda intake.

weird thing is i can drink all energy drinks, and drink probably 3 moutain dews a day and never get heartburn. Only happens with mdx and the glass bottle sobe drinks

Caffeine used to give me sharp pains in my chest but now I don't drink soda at all. I used to drink about 5 bottles a day. Then one time I tried a Monster BFC and **** that sucked! It hurt to breathe

i have had acid reflux for the past 3 years. Go to your doc and see what they can do for you on nexium, works like a charm. I been taking it for about 8 months now and very seldomly get heartburn anymore unless i eat spicy stuff, mexican and other types of food.
