well i got my alphasonik amp back today and hook it up to my alpha and its not near as loud as i was thinkin. I have it wired down to 1 ohm. Have my sub sonic filter at 20 hz (high as the dial says) and my LPF at 80, the bass boost is completely off. And i set the gain with a DMM. It hits the lows pretty well when playin hood figga, and white girl. But still it should be louder then what it is. Anyways the higher notes are pretty weak. My box it 2.5 ft2 and its tuned to 33 hz. Any suggestions on what i could do to get it louder?

i turned it up a bit but the only time it would actualy get kinda loud i had to turn it down again cuz it started clippin

How do you know its clipping?

Did you use the DMM with tones or music?

I would suggest using the DMM with the most bass heavy MUSIC tracks you have and turn the gain up to correspond with that. If you still think it's "clipping" try turning the SSF up a little bit.

Yeah if you can tell it's clipping you really don't need to be turning it up anymore than that.

what attenuation tone did you use? also, did you set it with the sub plugged in or not/
