So im ordering a SINGLE 4'' AREO port and the shipping( to Canada ) is from 45-50 dollars on a item thats less than a pound im guessing and costs about 15 dollars.

Parts express is a rip off , does anyone know of a place to get the same part for a better price?

60 dollars for a port is a little rich for my blood.

thanks in advance

When I get anything from the I always made sure to call and then get all pissy when they would say the shipping amount. So I would have them box the items up and I would send them a UPS lable.

Always got here faster then if they shipped it and always saved around $20 on shipping through them.

I ordered a LED light to spin poi from a site in NZ (New Zealand), and the shipping was cheaper there than to order the same item from the actual maufacturer/retailer in California o_O. Theres only a few places to get them and the cheapest is the store in NZ lol.

I love PE, only about 2.5 hours away from me so anything I order from them gets here in a day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just got a chargeback from an international package. Most clearing houses (paypal for sure) won't protect a seller unles a package is shipped via a method that has a signature that is visible from a URL. From my experience shipping overseas Fed Ex and UPS start at around 50$ for services that would truely protect a merchant against fraud.

So the answer is, they can ship it overseas for less I'm sure, but a few thieves and scammers fucked it up for everyone and now most ppl either won't ship international or will charge for the super elite shipping methods to cover their arses. No offense, but PE probably won't go bankrupt this year from not selling a 5$ port to Canada.

My issue with PE is shipping in the states. Far to pricey compared to any one else. Of course if you buy enough they give you free shipping or discounted shipping or what ever, but if you only need one item blah...

Thats why I hardly ever buy from them.

I dont like being forced into buying $100 worth of stuff just to save on shipping.
