new orleans put a bad image on hurricanes (but hey maby thats because they are 12 ft below sea level). ive been through a few hurricanes and they really arent that terrible you just lose power for a little while. sometimes its actually fun though you see some cool stuff. of course when you lose your whole house and evrything you own thats not cool but its not as common as people think.
