So id have to sell it as used equipment? Would you test something that you bought brand new and had never seen power? Cuz thats basically what happened...

yes. I'm not talking a long testing session...just power it up, plug in a speaker, see if it plays music, then off.

Kicker does this with all their "new" gear anyway...it's called QC....

I'm also pretty positive they tried it before they sent it back to you.

email him that work order and say sorry bout your luck...it was working when it left kicker

looks to me like kicker would cover any shipping costs, if it was there mistake...so he could send straight to kicker, all he would need is the workorder you have...but if he is going to be a dick, id say **** him

just sent him a message stating that he can ship it to kicker for free and that ill call them on monday and try and get it fast tracked. I feel thats a good compromise, he wants me to pay 100 bucks for his shop to fix it. wtf?

i was trying to keep it as BNIB, not tested equipment, plus it was still wrapped in plastic from kicker, i was confident it worked.
