I started adding second runs and noticed my fuse holder and fuse looked burnt and melted. How did this happen not big enough fuse?

i had a similar problem, thought that or not enough wire for the current i was drawing, but someone on here told me it was a bad connection or a poss. short or something...

 
Its being heat checked, there is not even coverage over the whole fuse so the burnt areas are where all the current in going. I have that problem. Get bigger washers and make sure the fuse sits flat.

Edit: And the the fuse should still be fine as far as integrity goes, i can get pix of my fuse, its not that bad but you can tell.

 
me? I ripped out everything since it melted into more than what you probably have in that pic (once again cant see it since im at work), then again 8g wire trying to feed an old school MTX2300x ~950w@4 class a/b dont help either...
