WTF is this?

Lets say the amp is 4ohms and you want to wire 2 subs in parallel for a 2ohm load.

so you wire the subs together inside the box and have one wire coming from the box and connected to the amp so it is bridged.

now instead of wiring them together in the box you would get the same result by wiring one sub to one set of -+ and the other set to the other +- right? a 2ohm load???

I currently have both subs wired in parallel inside the box when both subs hit one sub's excursion is more then the other. Could one sub be hogging more power then the other?

 
lets say the subs are dual coil...that would mean that the sub also has 2+ and 2- connections...its like 2 subs in one...remember that the 2 subs can be wired together creating one set of wires coming out of the box...or each sub can have its own set of wires coming out of the box...therefore...with a dual coil sub you can have 2 sets of wires coming out of the box...because of the 2 coils...so you can hook up the DVC sub to the amp as two different subs because of the dual coils...so one coil or set of connections from the sub is hooked up to one set of connections to the amp...and the other coil is hooked up to the other set of connections on the amp...

so you can either hook up the 2 coils to form one and run that to the amp...or leave them separately and run both to the amp
