wtf is this clamp result

Yesterday I clamped my Taramps HD3K 1 Ohm wired to 1 ohm nominal with a 40hz tone and I got 63.4 ac volts and 15.46 ac amps. Shouldn't I be getting a little more amperage?

Electrical is 320a singer alternator, agm 65 in the front 75AH and Kinetic HC2000 in the back 100 AH.

What was your rise to?

Well rise = ac volts / ac amps so I rose to 4.1 ohms. This amp is supposed to do 1400 watts at 4 ohms at 13.8. I was at 14.4.

Did you measure voltage at the amp? Are you setting your max output by a scope or using the on board clip indicator? Does sound like it has more in it.... Meter wise what are you using?

yeah I measured the dc volts at the amp's ground and positive inputs. steady 14.4. I'm using the amp's clip light. It has been tested and shown to be accurate.

I'm using a Klein CL2000 for the clamp and a Klein something 200 for my DMM. Both are True RMS.

Sounds familiar lol I don't have it on me so I can't look but I think that's it.

Quick Google search shows it an ac meter only. I don't know how that would affect your results. Could make your reading s off I would imagine
