WTF...I am just about to give up

It has been extremely frustrating the last couple weeks. I am trying to get my system running, however I am running into a major problem. I am not getting any sounds out of my components. I first, I thought it was my amp, so I bought a new one and still same result. I then returned my HU and got a replacement because I thought it might be the HU. I miraculously was able to get sounds coming out of my components, but only after fiddling with a the RCA cables. Next day come around, the components once again did not produce any sounds. I then decided to buy new RCA cables because I seriously thought my RCAs were going to shiet. Fast forward to today, I still am not able to get any sounds coming out of components.

I know its not the amp since I tested it on my buddy's car and it works. I know its not the RCA cables since I bought brand new cables. I know its not my HU because I returned the old one and got a replacement. I don't know what's going on. The only thing I can think of is that the RCA preouts on the HU is not giving out any signals. But cmon, this is my second brand new HU in 2 weeks, could I have such bad luck? I bought everything brand new not long ago btw, so it's not like I bought used gear and got screwed over.

Y not try the speakers in ur buddy car c if it works u switch up everythimg but the speakers

What about your speaker wire?

The speakers themselves and the wires to them is the only variable left then. Those need to be tested separately.
