when you buy stuff they usually include the windows restore stuff on a different hard drive partition, cuz they are bastards

what model computer is it again?

some new computer actually have 2 hard drives or 1 hard drive with a partition on it for the OS recovery

but if its under warrenty and you dont have anything important on it just atake it in it would be easier

Well, I dug into the box sitting to go to the trash and the cd was in there! i figured there was nothing in the box but packing crap.

edit.. nothing important is on this computer, should I just run the restore cd myself?

yes , put it in the tray and it will load up by itself, if it doesnt hold crtl and then press and hold C it will load it up.
