no its just when u used to press up the up button to make the digital part go up on the numbers went all the way up to 90 , its hot air coming out feels like 90 but says 32 idk why it woud happen i mean granted its an old car but how could i even fix this any ideas???

I'm kinda with Beat on this one...are you sure the display mode didn't get switched from Farenheit to Celcius? 32 degrees C = 90 degrees F //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

i know it didn't change i can't figure it out its just it stops at 90 and if it did get changed i looked in my owners manual no helpful enough same with a repair manual for it =/ someone please help me:(

alright thanks for the help prowler:). at least i know it is at 90 it just got changed in the way it shows idk how but ill have to figure that out thanks though man:)

What probably happened is a faulty hard line in the a/c system leaking into the heater core and thus cooling the outer portion where the cabin temperature sensor is but only minutely affecting the inner portion where heat will be coming from. Might want to have that checked out, you don't want to be breathing R134a if it is indeed leaking. The section of main concern is the liquid line which is prior to a fixed orifice, after the compressor but still before the routing of lines reaches the condensor.
