WTF $8 a foot 0/1 g?

So went into one of the local car audio shops and asked how much they charged per foot for some 0/1g cable. Guy tells me $8 dollars a foot, WTF. I look at the guy and laughed and said I''m good Ill get it somewhere else. So this shop has 2 locations right, so I call the other one, which I have gone to many times. I ask the guy how much and he said only $2.99 a foot. What the hell was this other guy trying to pull? Maybe if it were some kicker cable or some 0/2 but $8 a foot for some 0g you got me f***ed up.

Ya I know guy looks at me and thinks this kid dont know shh so I think Ill rip em off. I aint stupid, or at least not enough to pay $8 a foot for there who knows what brand cable. I aint know spoiled little shh so dont get that idea bout me. Im broke as shit as a matter of fact but I dont let that effect the quality of my system you know. I save up money and buy good stuff step by step instead of going the cheap route and f**in regretting it later on.

Our local RF dealer charges $8/ft and I believe the local Stinger dealers charge like $6/ft. Knukonceptz Kollosus Fleks FTW @ $3.25/ft.

I understand $8 for RF because that's RF, its always some of the best quality products with them. Knu cable is a bargain especially for the kolossus fleks for only $3.40 a foot.
