Ill either have the seller help me pay for the re-cone or return both 12's and lay low until after SBN, i want to hear some more setups at SBN to see what i like.

i want to atleast do 145 legal, with 3kw.

get my nightshade man, its sittn in my garage
pm me the lowest shipped price to 32757, and youll most likely have a deal! just have to send back the 2 12"s first. lmk

awaiting his PM^^^ then ill most likely go with that 1 18", 5.5cf tuned to 35 or 36hz with 2 6" aero's.. should be nice and loud for daily

how far do 6" aero ports need to be from the inside/opposite side of the box to allow proper air flow? 6"? looks like ill use 2 full length aero's in 5.5cf to get 36hz tuning. my box can only be 23" tall, so that leaves 4.25" below the port opening for air flow... idk if that is enough

your supposed to have the diameter of the port from the wall of the box so 6" for yours, how much room you got if you did them to the side?
the way the box will be positioned, the only way i can fire the ports would be up, the sides would be way too close to the sides of the cab (under 1"). and forward, they would fire right into the seats, so thats a not happening.

if i make the box a little bigger, i can shrink the length of the port down to about 16-17" including the flares, that will give me about 36hz tuning at just about 6cf net. ill just keep the gain low and easy on the volume. that is until the nightshade X comes out, then ill let loose on that beast //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

my box will be 23" tall, so including the bottom thickness of the wood that gives me 22.25" - 17" = 5.75" from the bottom wall, that should be ok, ill make the port a little shorter if necessary. i have plenty of room from the sides of the port, so thats no big deal. just not so much room right below the port opening.

iasca is 25" tall box db drag is window line. unless they changed the rules which i dont think they did, but i think you post on fspl.com i would pm mike or shellie to confirm that

The two best subs so far for 3000 watts have been the APX and SHW.....
I have seen a few IA Death Penalties goin for cheap and there the EXACT same thing as a Nightshade... look into those
how about the performance of the apx and shw daily? this will be 95% daily, 5% occasional comps, mainly bassrace and bassboxing. ill be listening to it atleast 1hr daily, and want clean lows
