i think it would be to hard to track it back and see if it has upgraded soft parts. but ucan ask em maybe theres a number on the sub he can put in his computer and check,,, but i dont think hell know if it does or not. i sure as heck dont know, unless theres a physical difference/identification u could tell me to look for

ok cool, looks like all the 18"s have the upgraded coil/softparts etc from what Jacob is saying. thanks for the help, ill be ready to buy once my 12" nightshades get back to the seller and i get reimbursed. ill PM you, and get your paypal addy when i get my refund (should be thursday/friday this week)

ive owned a treo csx , it doesnt sound to good. by the looks of the nightshade i would say it is better musical then csx. by all means the csx will prolly get loud in an spl vehicle throwing 3000rms to each sub. nightshade has better cooling then csx though so more musical play timew rather then burps.. ha but i dought i nightshade can burp 10,000 wattts likes a csx can...lol pros and cons all around
