WTB Pontiac G6 Coupe: Opinions?

im looking at a 2009 G8 GT 6spd/V8....red, black leather, 22k miles, sunroof, etc for $23 or 24k cant rem off the top of my head right now.

has 22" wheels but i may want to downgrade to some 18/20" staggered wheels after purchase. figure i can negotiate it into the $21k range

The G6's styling is very blah imo
you know, think that every now and then. but certain times i really dig it. it might be a year, model or something like that specifically that i like. when i look at the first picture i post, i like it a lot but other times it looks plain. i def notice them driving around tho, esp at night

i'd go ahead and spend a few more bones and get a G8 if you don't you'll regret it later....
The G8 is slowly growing on me, more then when i started this post but I still think I'm leaning towards G6. for the money for a G8 I think i may look elsewhere but i havent look to far into it.

Honestly, no shit... buy a Dodge Challenger. I have had people driving cars many many times the cost of my Challenger breaking their necks looking at it since the day I bought it... not to mention the young ladies waving, yelling, offering numbers, etc.

I had the once in a lifetime chance to drive a Ferrari... and more people look at my Challenger... no shit...

If you want to turn heads, it's the way to go.

The body was **** near mint. I should have listed it for much more as it had about 3,000 in performance parts alone. Needless to say as long as the G6 has a Series II V6 or Series III V6 it will be **** near bullet proof and well worth the money. Ive seen the Series II go over 300,000 easily without issues.
What year did they start making the Series 2 and 3?

I have an old 96 Grrand am GT that Has now become my daily commuter/ mileage car/ stereo car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif It has the SFI 3.1 V6 in it and THAT ( to me at least ) has been unbelievable .. The car has been through everything.. Its been hit , its HIT 6 deer, It was a pizza and chinese food delivery car for 3 yrs, ( so it wasnt driven lightly ) and now is a mileage car .. I have 175K on it and it runs perfect still and gets 24 city 30+ Hwy.. and has been by FAR the most reliable car I have ever owned, ( got it in 98 ) It still has the infamous piston slap in the cold that goes away , But ALL of the 3.1s and I believe 3.4s)? had loose fitting pistons , so it is normal ..

I believe in 97 they started the series II in the 3.1 and 3.8's and the GTP's had the series III's. Not sure though. I never really looked into it. Definitely a very reliable car. When I sold mine it had 187K on it and I could drive it across the country and back. Thats how well it still ran.
