I'm looking for 2-4 Obsidian 18s. Don't care for impedance or looks. As long as everything is working and will continue to work for a long time. Was about to buy, but they went out of business.

Check out FU audio 18s, they are 200 shipped bucks from the factory and they did pretty **** good on taylor fade's tests on Caraudioclassifieds forums.

Do you know if they're built to last and can handle than rated. I'm planning to use a 2500.1

On the test he pushed 1500 watts to a single 12 so yeah it should be able to handle every last bit of power.

Very impressive for being so cheep. That being said, if I can't get a hit on any OAs I'll look into these some more.

Wouldn't mind hitting 162 on those Obsidiand though...

Right now I have 2 Soundqubed 15s, and was just looking for some 18s at a reasonable price. And always heard good things about OA, that's the reason for asking.

I think you should go for it. Hell, get rid of the 2nd row too and run 6 18s.
